Ferdaous, the emotion in inheritance

Ferdaous is a Moroccan songwriter, composer and singer, native of Meknes. 
Emotion is at the heart of her music while she mixes the influence of classical Arabic music with modern sounds.

Ferdaous met the public at the age of six and conquered her audience with the performance of "Lissa Faker", a classic of the Egyptien diva "Oum Kalthoum". 
Her destiny is shaped. Her passion will be music displayed by her gift of singing.

She enrolled at the Conservatory of Meknes where she trained her voice with love and rigor.

Ferdaous participated in several festivals and won many awards like " Best Performance " at the Arabic Music Festival of Tunisia in 2008.

Ferdaous had the chance to share the stage with famous artists like Wadih El Safi, Walid Tawfik, Assala, Saber Arroba3i,  and Safwan Bahlawan.

She launched in 2004 her first album titled " Mounajat ", for which she collaborated with the greatest Arab songwriters and composers.

In 2010, Ferdaous was sponsored by the foundation "BMCI Parisbas" to launch her second album "Omry Lak", which she wrote and composed. 

Her last album " Marahel " was selected by the  Ministry of Culture and its production was financed by this entity. " Marahel " was inspired by real life experiences.

In November 2016 Ferdaous took part in the COP22 held in Marrakech, with a memorable performance of her special song, "OUR HOME" wrote and composed by her. This song was selected as the official anthem of the event.

Her entire work reflects her huge universe of emotions. 

"Through my music, I express the values that are important to me, respect, tolerance, sharing, and compassion.
 I hope my fans can feel it".
